Axis VI was approved by the European Commission with decision C (2021) 5865 of 3 August 2021 in order to support the response to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and contribute to a sustainable socio-economic recovery. Measures under this Axis will support SMEs in making investments in the green and digital transition; they will also be invested in interventions in the field of energy, like in the development and reinforcement of smart grids for the transmission and distribution of energy and in measures aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of public buildings.
