ABOUT THE NOP PORTAL

Within the context of EU planning for the 2014-2020 period, this website is intended to publicise, raise awareness of and encourage participation in the projects and opportunities offered by the "Enterprises and Competitiveness" and "SME Initiative" National Operational Programmes. The site's contents are addressed to all potential and actual beneficiaries of the projects run, the general public and the various stakeholders.

WEBSITE STRUCTURE

The home page menu bar gives immediate access to the sections described below.

About us”: a page providing full information about the organisation and the respective contacts of all the entities involve in implementation of the NOPs.

Calls for proposals and alerts”: this section contains all the funding opportunities offered by the Programmes. The various calls for proposals and funding opportunities are subdivided by thematic areas. There is also a filter tool to assist visitors in the selection and search process.

“Media area news and further information”: contains all news items, press releases, web press gallery, communication campaigns, studies and in-depth reports, and success stories (projects providing examples of successful use of EU resources for the growth and development of the Italian entrepreneurial fabric, which thus represent good practices).

“Contact us”: the NOP organisation can be contacted directly for various purposes via this section. Users are offered three forms for compilation to request information and provide the organisation with feedback on various topics. All entrepreneurs who have realised an NOP-funded project can also submit their project as a "success story" to get themselves more widely known.

THEMATIC AREAS

To provide all stakeholders with clear, industry-specific communication of programmes' contents, the website is structured by thematic areas, each corresponding to one of the two Programmes' operating objectives: Innovation, Ultra wideband, SME competitiveness, Energy efficiency, Access to credit. Every area is designed to enable users to find the pages of interest to them easily, and guarantee immediate access to constantly updated information.

HIGHLIGHTS

Another important feature of the website is the highlights section, which will alternate news, events, analyses and studies and "success stories", meaning the personal testimonies of people who have realised their projects through access to NOP funds. The telling of their stories becomes a way of transferring knowledge and experience about the use of EU resources.

THE PROGRAMMES

The central part of the home page offers access to the “THE PROGRAMMES” section, containing all official information on the planning and implementation of the various Operational Programmes run by the Directorate-General for Incentives of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, including both those co-funded with the EU ESIF funds and those co-funded with National Funds, with a unified regional policy approach.

OPEN DATA

With the aim of raising awareness of the funding allocated, monitoring its gradual use and ensuring transparency and sharing of the Programmes' operating results, the “Open data” section will be constantly updated with freely accessible, geo-referenced data, a useful resource for businesses, the public and government bodies. This final section is currently being updated.
